The mission of the Office of Trademark Licensing is to protect and promote the name(s), images, symbols, logos, and trademarks that are associated with Duke University's name and its reputation as one of the finest universities in the country.
To that end, the Office of Trademark Licensing provides information, guidelines, and procedures related to the use of Duke's trademarks, in a manner that protects the integrity of the institution's trademarks and ensures such trademarks are used in an appropriate manner. Duke's Trademark Licensing Program is administered by Duke's Office of Trademark Licensing and overseen by the Director of Trademark Licensing.THE MISSION OF DUKE UNIVERSITY
